Gravity at Websummit 2016 - Lisbon

We are writing this post from Lisbon, Portugal. We are here to attend Websummit 2016 that has moved this year here from Dublin, Ireland. Websummit is one of bigger, if not the biggest, startup, entrepreneurship and technology events in Europe. More than 50,000 all over the world will attend the event this year to present their startups and their products (entrepreneurs), identify startups where they can invest in (investors) etc. A blend of people from every aspect of the entrepreneurial life and journey creating a mosaic difficult to find anywhere else in Europe.

Gravity team is here accompanying 5 of our startups and 7 entrepreneurs in total, that will be presenting their products to potential investors and collaborators. Our target is to create new experiences for our entrepreneurs, that cannot easily have in Cyprus. We want them to blend with other entrepreneurs, pitch to investors, see what other people are doing. These are experiences that will help them develop as entrepreneurs and progress their startups. All our startups will have an exhibition booth for a whole day and we are really glad that one of them, SoilTron was selected among the 200 startups (out of more than 1000 applications) that will participate in the Websummit Pitch Battle.

The startups that joined us in this journey are DisruptEurope, SoilTron, IresTech, Capsule Skateboards, Pitch60 and Tracar.
